Good Afternoon Pixley Families. This week we continue with Cross country practices after school and on Friday, 10/18 at Sundale a Cross Country championships!
This Friday we have our Respect Character Counts Assemblies.
Next Week we have our Parent Teacher Conferences Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 1:30-4pm and Wednesday from 1:30-7pm. On Wednesday we will have tacos, snow cones, and flavored lemonades available for purchase from 2-6pm. We hope to see you all!! If you have any questions, please call the office.
Good Afternoon Pixley Families. We have seen an increase in students having gum at school and instead of throwing away, students are putting it under tables/desks and on the ground. Please remind your student that gum is not allowed at school.

We have fun things coming up in the next few weeks: EL Banquet Thursday, September 26th; Student Rally on Friday, Sept 27th; Character Counts Respect Assembly- October 11th ( 8th grade @ 2:15 pm, 6/7 @ 3:00 pm);
Parent Teacher Conferences October 14-17; Harvest Carnival Friday, October 25th; Day of the Dead event Wednesday, October 30th, No School for students Friday, November 1st (Staff Professional Development). Lots going on this upcoming month! Hope to see soon!

Hello Pixley Middle School. We will be having Volleyball & Football home games tomorrow on Tuesday, September 17th at 3:30pm. If students wish to stay after and cheer on their classmates, they need to have a signed permission slip turned in to the office or Mr. Hernandez (PE).

Middle School parents, please make sure you are dropping off and picking up students in the drive through area of the parking lot. Several students have been crossing the parking lot to get to cars waiting on the street. This is causing a safety concern for our students. Woo Hoo! What a great day yesterday was for Volleyball! Our students played their hearts out! We had a huge crowd of students and families show up and cheer on their Pixley Jaguars! Next home game Tuesday, Sept 17th! Mark your calendars!
Good Afternoon Pixley Middle School families. I will be hosting a parent meeting in the FRC with Mr. Omar Gutierrez on Thursday, September 12th at 1pm. This will be an informal meeting to get to know you and learn about your concerns/needs for our school. Together we can build a better school community. Come and build a sandwich with me. Sandwich fixings, chips, and drink will be provided.
Hello Pixley families. Due to extreme heat for this afternoon it was decided to cancel our home football game for the safety of our students, staff, and families.
We will still have our Volleyball games at 3:30pm in the GYM and the concession stand will be open for item purchases.
