Circle J-Norris Ranch to host annual Biodiversity Festival March 8
vernal poolsThe public is invited to attend and participate in fun, hands-on outdoor activities at the annual Circle J-Norris Ranch Biodiversity Festival on Saturday, March 8. The free event includes guided nature walks, bird watching, native plant investigations, BioBlitz, and aquatic exploration. The Biodiversity Festival is open 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. with nature walks and hikes in the morning, followed by native plant and pollinator exploration in the afternoon. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own lunches.
A program of the SCICON school of outdoor education, Circle J-Norris Ranch is located at 41893 Yokohl Valley Road in Springville. Circle J offers all grade levels a wide variety of field study experiences.

Attention Families: Next Wednesday, February 19th there will be a district wide family paint night from 6 - 7 pm in the Elemetary Cafeteria. Space is limited to 50 people so please call the Elementary Office or come down in person to sign up before Tuesday, February 18th.
Girls Varsity Basketball team played hard at the Sundale Basketball Tournament this morning. Although they didn't win they had a great time playing against some really tough teams!! Way to go!

Our ASB students will begin our Valentine's Day candy gram sales on Monday, Feb 3rd through Wed Feb 12th. Candy grams will be delivered on Friday, Feb 14th during the school day.
ASB will be selling candy lollipops for $1.00 each, Candy Conversation heart candy boxes $2.00 each, small bag of Valentine's day cookies (circus brand) for $2.00, and a limited supply of chocolate roses $3.00 each.
Let's show our love to our friends and send them a Valentine Gram candy!

8th Grade families- Mission Oak is hosting an 8th grade night on January 23 for the boys basketball game and January 29 for the girls basketball game. This sounds like a great event to participate in and they will feed our students- pizza. Yippy!
Games on both dates- Jan 23 & Jan 29th begin at 7:15 pm.
